Our first contact with the Vizsla was when we got a puppy for our parents from Max Holland of Hollandia Vizslas in 1972. She was a wonderful Vizsla and we line bred her to Hy, one of Max Holland's male dogs, and she had a litter of 10 puppies in March of 1974. We kept the pick female from the litter and named her Magda. That is how it all began. Magda was a wonderful companion, a wonderful hunter and a wonderful brood bitch. She finished her championship at the Vizsla Club Of Greater New York Specialty at the Westchester Kennel Club Show inSeptember of 1976 going Best Of Winners. And the rest, as they say, is History. We have had many wonderful Vizslas ince then. Among them is Aranka, CH Jaunzeme's Raindrop Prelude JH, who was # 7 in Breed and #7 All Breed in in the Vizsla in 2001. We strive to make sure that the Vizsla stays a versatile breed and we therfore train and run all our dogs in Hunt Tests. Our Vizslas have been our companions, our friends and our family for a long time. Our goal is to continue to help keep the Vizsla Breed the versatile, wonderful breed it was meant to be.
